The Bible says in Proverbs 11:24, “One gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty”. This also intersects with another saying that a closed fist can’t receive anything, literally.

This is the second of a two-piece collection I titled “The Laws of Giving”. It was inspired by the epiphany that the laws of giving are basically the same across different traditions and belief systems worldwide.
